Been wondering what to do with the blog for awhile now. My life is too busy to be curating the world of internet skate videos for you…plus I thought that’s what HellaClips was supposed to do (although the amount of Nigel K. Alexander videos and Asphalt Yacht Club launch party clips leaves me with little faith). We’ll see. Stay tuned as something is in the works.

Here’s a little something while you wait. Suede Peach is a video made by Tin Tran featuring a whole grip of dudes from Boston, including myself. We recently released the video in it’s entirety to SLAP. Check it out here and don’t make fun of my tucked in wife-beater…I did it for Dill.

Yeah Coakley!

Coakley has been looking for a home since the demise of Blueprint (has anyone seen this yet?┬áIt’s embarrassing). He’s been living in San Francisco for a few months now so it’s only fitting that he ride for SF based Think skateboards. Congrats Kevin! Kevin’s one of the best crusty Boston shredders and I’m sure the SF terrain will suit him quite well!

Dana won the Battle at the Barrics on Sunday (which means I lost to him in the first round). At least I lost to the guy who won, haha. To determine who went first in the finals Dana and Dasaro had to shotgun a tallboy. Dana won the race, snapped his nose, and still managed to beat Dasaro. And to finish it all off he donated the $500 to the Shawn Clark fund. What a G. Thanks to Orchard, the Northstar Bar, and Cons for sponsoring the event. Stay tuned for a video of all of the matches.

In the meantime, watch this clip of Leeper for The Predatory Bird. Leeper crushing it on the board and Pease crushing the edit.

Turns out you can’t pull the plug on a loved one. Who knows, the blog could make a miraculous comeback. We’re thinking about it.

This weekend I’m in a big game of skate in a bar for a cash prize of 500 bucks. Fortunately, the luck of the draw has me playing New England’s number one bad-boy and Emerson College alum Dana Ericson so I’m pretty much fucked. Wish me luck, I will need it.

Hopps came down to 7th street for a little summer jam. Scope all of the homeys killing it. Mark is really good.

I hate to send people to The Berrics because it frequently is a waste of time but it still has its moments, namely this moment with Austyn Gillette who is just really talented on a skateboard.

Mark Suciu is another one of those dudes that’s just really really good. Watch.

Anthony’s part from Fully Flaccid just went live on the tube today. Anthony has always amazed me on his skateboard. When we would go to spots Anthony was the dude that started skating the spot in the most creative or most interesting way and you would find yourself thinking, “how come I didn’t think of that?” He was always one step ahead of everyone else and I think this part shows it.

I always find it crazy that we can’t get anyone to buy Gravis in our shop. With dudes like this on the team I always think there should be more hype around the brand. Jake and Sammy ripping with style.
